Luciana Paoluzzi grew up in Rome together with her mother and father. Luciana Paoluzzi's father is an Italian Army officer. Maria Rota Paoluzzi's mother was a former mistress with Benito Mussolini. There is no information about her having any siblings. Luciana was a student at a local school before matriculating to the Scientific Academy of Milan in 1955. Luciana was one of only two females in her class. Her modeling career began after two years. Then, it transformed when she was offered her first role in acting accidentally during a visit to her father's Rome acquaintance. It was a two-line role in Three Coins in the Fountain. Brett Halsey - an actor - was her first spouse. Following the wedding, in 1960 they produced a film together entitled Return to the Peyton Palace. Luciana was granted custody following the divorce. They had a baby boy called Charles that was born on June 1961. Between 1962 and 1970 Luciana was with Tony Athony,, an actor and producer. Tony was inspired by her work in the movie Green Slime and based on the script he wrote as well as the mixed Spaghetti Western for which he gained some recognition.
