David-Muir
David Muir (born August 25 1949) is an American journalist anchor, reporter and anchor. Most well-known is for his show World News Tonight. The show is animated and features the dramatic clips of celebrities' gossip the show has grown into the top-rated news program in America. He is also known for his Emmy-nominated program Made In America. Prior to joining ABC World News Tonight, he served as the primary replacement for the show's founder Diane Sawyer. Many of his morning ABC News specials include Breaking Point the Story of Heroin in America as well as Flashpoint Refugees in America. He's traveled the world covering news from Gaza Egypt Iran Somalia Japan Peru Ukraine Haiti and the Gulf of Mexico. He's received several Emmy Awards Edward R. Murrow Awards as well as numerous distinctions and awards from the Associated Press.
